Ohio Stoneware Preserving Covers

Ohio Stoneware Preserving Covers are made to fit Ohio Stoneware Crocks and help protect food during fermentation and storage. Whether you are making sauerkraut, pickles, or other fermented foods, a properly sized preserving cover helps complete your crock setup and keeps contents better protected in the kitchen or pantry. They also help prevent open-air contamination and keeps mold and aerobic bacteria from tainting your fermenting food. The lip on the lid holds the cover in place and the covers are made from the same material as the Ohio Stoneware Crocks.

These preserving covers are available in sizes to fit 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10 gallon Ohio Stoneware Crocks. They may also fit crocks from other manufacturers, but measurements should always be verified before ordering.
