What changed here, and why (for review β€” not shown to customers)
  • State selection, the live order total, and an early preview of express rates all stay right in front of the customer, unchanged β€” this is the part that already works well today.
  • Changing quantity now recalculates the total instantly instead of saving, then reloading the whole page a second later.
  • Coupon code and shipping calculator are still two clearly separate cards, side-by-side, matching today's layout.
  • "Go to Checkout" still stays disabled with an explanation until a state is chosen β€” same gate as today, just carried into the new design.
  • Colors are pulled from the site's real navy / green / garnet palette, not the exploratory colors from the first mockup.

What changed here, and why (for review β€” not shown to customers)
  • 4 pages β†’ 1 page. Shipping method, insurance, billing, contact, and payment used to each be their own full page load (or a long single form). Here they're sections on one continuous page.
  • Totals update instantly. The summary on the right recalculates the moment you pick a shipping method, toggle insurance, or apply a code β€” no page reload to see the new total.
  • Shipping options shown are still driven by what's in the cart. Free/Saver only appears when the cart contains free-shipping-eligible items, Express only appears when the cart allows it β€” unchanged from today's basket.php / calcShipping() logic. This demo cart isn't free-eligible, so it opens on Ground, matching the reference screenshots.
  • Billing address now defaults to "same as shipping" and only asks again if it's actually different, instead of collecting both from scratch every time.
  • Promo code is opt-in. Most customers don't have one, so it's a small link instead of a prominent card competing for attention.
  • Payment method chosen first. Only the fields for the method you actually picked are shown, instead of every field for every payment type at once.
  • Completed sections collapse to a one-line summary with an Edit link, so the page stays short as you move through it.
  • Colors are pulled directly from the site's real tokens (navy #1D4E89, green #008700, garnet #a73136) instead of the exploratory palette in the first mockup β€” a single small theme file like this is exactly the "one file to reskin a site" setup discussed for the other 12 stores.
Backend field contract β€” everything canner.htm / paid.htm need is still here (engineering reference)
  • zones, rhzsst, rhzscountry β€” the shipping state/zone code, set the moment a state is chosen on the Cart page, unchanged.
  • r1 β€” the shipping method + amount string (e.g. 04$9.54), still set by whichever Shipping option is selected.
  • SubTotal, taxx, TotalWeight, Totalitems_ β€” still computed and carried forward exactly as today.
  • coupon_code, coupon_rate, coupon_discount β€” still set when a coupon is applied on the Cart page, and still ride along through checkout.
  • id[], des[], price[], wt[], qty[], box[], ex[] β€” one entry per cart line, generated the same way printForm() does today.
  • ShoppingCart, IpCart, TheUrl, rhzstore, rhzinvoice β€” unchanged housekeeping fields.
  • Every field on today's Step 3 payment page β€” name, address 1 & 2, city, state, zip, country, attention-to, residential/business, email, phone, gift/no-invoice, payment type, name on card, card number, CVV2 + re-enter CVV2, expiration month/year β€” is still collected here, just reorganized into Shipping and Payment sections instead of one long form.
  • None of this touches testphp.php, canner.htm, or paid.htm. This mockup only reshapes the pages a customer sees before that data gets submitted.
